I’m yet to meet anyone that actually likes to have their photograph taken! All sessions with me are relaxed with time allowances to ease into things and ensure you are comfortable. I can give you guidance on how to stand or pose (in the case of headshots and portraits) and always do my best to take photos from the best angle.
During each session I will take as many photographs as it takes to get a selection of shots to fulfill the brief. I will supply the ones that I feel are the very best and in a range of portrait and landscape where possible. Photographs are supplied via a link to a private online gallery, here you can download low and high res versions of your images. If you need your images supplied in a special format, just let me know.
This will depend on the brief you have given me and what we have agreed upon, for anything that is extremely time sensitive, do let me know what you need at the time of your quote so I can accommodate this for you. Usually, the shooting/editing/supply process takes around 5-10 working days depending on my workload, so not long at all.
Yes, all photographs will be supplied to you fully edited. I prefer to do as little editing as possible when it comes to supplying your images for portraits and people, I’m a firm believer in ensuring your gear is shooting as close to the result you want as possible, which is an art in itself! I don’t use any Lightroom presets or grainy filters, I prefer to work with natural light to create a fresh and crisp look, but I do use a combination of Lightroom and Photoshop for those more tricky bits as required.
Essentially, you are granted a license to use the images for their given purpose. Full terms of trade are given when you receive a written quote.
I can pretty much work anywhere that my schedule allows! I am based in Mangawhai (90 minutes north of Auckland) so easily operate between Auckland and Kerikeri day-to-day as well as my home studio. I can travel anywhere in the world (and love to!) it really comes down to your budget.
Yes! I love to shoot private events and family portrait sessions. These are done in a relaxed, documentary style where I shoot a combination of relaxed, information shots and include a few posed group shots where required (have to keep Nana happy!) to cover all bases. Location is flexible, often done at your home or a special local spot.
No, I don’t personally shoot weddings but I have stacks of amazing, award-winning contacts in the industry all over New Zealand that I can get you in touch with.
