An experienced art director, designer, stylist and all-round a creative person, Jessica has been working in her creative fields since she was a wee dot; shortly after she was born, she had a pencil in her hand and a head full of ideas.
Jessica has been a successful graphic designer for over 12 years and has developed her photography body of work alongside her design studio, Oh Gosh. She has worked as a freelance Art Director for several publications, including her role as Editor in Chief and Creative Director of the successful Gather Magazine designing, styling and shooting the majority of editorial content.
She has worked with brands such as New Balance NZ, Anchor Milk and Blush Gin and shot editorial with musician Bailey Wiley, poet Sam Hunt, artist Hayley King (aka Flox) and more.
With an eye for detail and composition, Jessica loves to tell a visual story with a relaxed and authentic approach.
Working with commercial, editorial and personal clients, she understands the importance of creating the right aesthetic for the job while making people feel comfortable and at ease or products look their best.
Originally first experiencing photography with film ( in a time before digital cameras and dinosaurs still walked) Jessica lends those practices to her work today preferring to work with natural lighting, minimal editing and a documentary style.
Jessica can work with you to create a range of visual content, either onsite or at her home studio in Mangawhai.
